The Fishermen Vision

Some people will always be in the shallow water and only with the great multitudes will they get past the shallow waves. It reminds me of an open vision the Lord gave me. I saw the sea with some old fishermen looking out at the horizon over the water. Around them were little children asking the fishermen to tell them another story. The fishermen would begin to tell the children how they would go out in their boats and catch fish.
Every night, just when the sun was setting, these fishermen would literally get in their fishing boats and disappear over the horizon to fish all night. In the morning, they would return with the catch. When the children turned five or six years old, the fishermen would take the children out with them. It was a great event! The children were so excited to go out with the fishermen to catch fish because they knew that was what they were made for.
When they got into the boats and went out into the horizon as the sun was setting, a storm started to happen. As the waves came and the winds blew, the children were afraid. The fishermen knew how to work the lines and nets, but the children were still afraid. They heard the screams and sounds of the fish that they were catching. It sounded like sirens blaring.
The children were frightened, but the fishermen had huge ropes around their waists as they began to pull in these enormous fish. When they returned to land, they would lay out the fish, take a huge knife and as they cut the fish open, they would literally put their hands into the middle of the intestines and blood and pull out a brand new baby and there was a new birth.
These babies who were brought up by the sea loved the water. They would body surf and play. But the children who went out with the fishermen had choices. They saw the storm and the extreme fight it was to catch the big fish. Many times there was a terror to catching these huge fish because they were so unclean. But the fishermen knew that as they brought them in and cut them open, then there would be new life. They didn’t see the death out in the storms, they only saw the new life that would come forth.
God is calling you to be willing to be fishermen and women and go out and catch fish. Even though there are storms and things around you, yet you will bring in the fish (souls), “cut them open” and there will be new life in the Lord.
I am asking you once again…how much of God do you really want? There are choices and each one of you as individuals has to make a choice. It isn’t a corporate choice or even what your husband or wife wants, it is an individual, personal choice where you plumbline into the King of Glory. How much of Him do you want? How much of the King of Glory do you hunger for? Are you willing to be carriers of the glory? Do you want the resurrection power to move through you? Do you want to have so much of the fire and presence of God that you literally change the atmosphere when you walk into a room? Have you gotten so trained by religious traditions from the past that the only way you ever evangelize is through giving people tracts? There was an anointing on that for a season, but it is a new decade; we are in a new season!
It isn’t enough to robotically hand out tracts. He wants to invade where you go with His glorious presence! When you go to the mall, His presence is inside of you! As the Glorious Intruder starts to move in the room because the Great I Am is living in you, then the King of Glory is moving in the place through you! It’s a whole different perspective. He is so big!!!
It isn’t about the 5-6 hours per week that you attend church. He tells us it is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week that He has called you. You are His. It must be 100% commitment because He loves you so deeply. If the only time you meet Him is in church, then you have to be bored!!! There is so much more outside the walls of the church!!
How did you get into this thing of saying, “God bless you” to people? Wouldn’t you rather say, “God, get them!”? During my meetings, I look at rows in the building and I don’t just think about who is going to come up for an altar call. I start looking at different rows and people, and it is as though angels are putting “dynamite” under their chairs. We have a mindset that God only works at the end of a sermon or in the altar area, but God can get you right where you are sitting or while you’re reading this.
The Lord is moving all over the nations in thousands of churches. Can you believe it? God is moving in the most unlikely places. It’s like looking down over the nations and seeing different kinds of light. There are different amounts of the glory of God moving in different nations. Different nations have different prophetic time clocks. The whole critical mass in the nations is coming up now in these end times.
