Vision of Pillars and Purple Fabric - Jeanette Dale

As I looked I saw a gateway to the east. Through the gateway I saw many many strong marble pillars standing in position – row after row. The pillars turned into people – married couples and individuals who had believed the word of God and had not wavered. No matter what had happened in the natural they had held on to God's promises.

A beautiful fabric appeared. It was exquisite – woven and purple. It looked like many different pieces of fabric but it wasn’t. There were no joins – it was one piece with many parts. The fabric looked like it was alive. It started moving over the people. It was a beautiful sight. I recognized the pillars as the Bride of Christ and sons of Abba Father. They were all standing together, holding the fabric up in a spirit of unity. The fabric had no ending, it seemed to continually spread out and expand.

I started to smell an aroma. It was a fragrance pure and sweet. It took over the atmosphere and many people in the world started to smell it. Suddenly they started looking to see where it was coming from and were drawn in – thousands upon thousands of them!!!

The Gateway

I believe the gateway in the east is the nation of New Zealand. The sun rises in the east and New Zealand is one of the first nations to see the sunlight at the start of each day. New Zealand is a prophetic, forerunner nation. What will start in New Zealand will also happen in nations around the world.

The Pillars

Pillars are a symbol of support and stability. I believe the Lord has raised up a people who have a solid root system in the word of God. The pillars represent couples and singles with revelation in the marriage covenant who understand the dynamics of standing together in unity. These pillars have revelation of the Bride of Christ, they know Him intimately and are solid believers who have been trained in the spirit of tenacity. They are connected in right alignment with God and with one another. Because of this alignment they are fruit bearers of the living Word, united with Him and walking “on earth as it is heaven.” They are kingdom pillars appointed by God for such a time as this.

The Fabric

The woven fabric seemed to have no beginning or end. The “fragments” of the fabric mingled together as if one piece. I felt this mirrored the unity of the body of Christ. We all have different fingerprints but we are one in Him. The fabric was held in place by the pillars and nothing could stop its expansion as it stretched out to cover the multitudes of people that the Spirit of God drew in. Jesus had a robe on when He went to the cross for us. It was a very expensive garment made without seams, just like the fabric I saw in the vision. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross demonstrated the perfect love He has for us. He laid down His life so that through Him we could be reconciled to our loving Father. He laid down His crown so that we could have life.

It is interesting to note that the production of purple dye in the ancient world was a long and laborious task. The liquid used to create it came from the gland of a tiny snail found in the Mediterranean Sea. Each snail produced only a single drop of the needed fluid. Ten thousand snails were needed to produce just one gram of dye! (Reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexaplex_trunculus).

The Fragrance

The Lord revealed to my heart that the fragrance was a sweet smell unto Him!

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are a sweet fragrance of Christ unto God... (2 Corinthians 2:14-15a).

The vision captured the Father's heart to see His body joined together in the unity of love. People smelt the fragrance and were completely captivated.

The Lord took me to Revelation chapter 3.

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name (Revelation 3:7-12 italics added).

Philadelphia means “love for one another.” I believe this vision is a representation of the “Philadelphia Church” - a unified company of believers standing on the living Word. They love one another and have a heart to see the fullness of all that He is in intimacy and truth. The Father is gathering together those who have walked faithfully, those who have held on. Now they are pillars. The world will see the disciples of Jesus Christ loving Him and loving one another. This witness will be profoundly beautiful and will change history. Through this unity of love the fragrance of heaven will draw mankind into the revelation of Jesus Christ.
