Few people realize the importance or significance of their relationship with their Father. I have seen more deep healing in people from this one message than any other.
The following is one of many testimonies from this seminar.
I am thrilled to be able to share with you about a healing I received from God during the Healing the Brokenhearted Seminar run by Heart of David Ministries. While Nathan was preaching on the Father's love, and then the Prisoners, I felt the presence of God resting on me heavily. I felt as if my heart was breaking - I was crying and in a terrible amount of emotional pain but didn't really understand why.
When this section was finished I responded to an altar call and received prayer from one of the ministry team. I can't remember what was said during that prayer but the impression I had, as I fell under the presence of God, was one I will never forget. I had the sensation of being physically born; it felt as if I was coming down through the birth canal. Then I had a visual impression of Jesus waiting for me as I was born into His waiting arms. I could see my parents there as well.
After this experience I understood in a new way that God had not only planned my birth but that He also has a plan for my life. Jesus delights in me and He rejoiced at my birth! I was someone my Heavenly Father had lovingly created. I was not the mistake that I had been told repeatedly as a child. I had been an unplanned pregnancy and, being the youngest of five, I had heard that I was the one who had broken the camel's back--the last straw in an already financially struggling family.
I had been born on a Black Friday and had lived with many stories about all the superstitious things that had gone on at the time of my birth. I had been raised by a father who drank heavily and who never managed to make it home for dinner or our birthday celebrations, although we always waited for him. These things combined over the years to make me never want to celebrate my birthday and even, at times, to question my very existence.
I know that during that seminar I was completely healed of an area that had kept me a prisoner for years and that when I left the building that day I had changed. I am very thankful that I am loved by a God who desires to see me without spot and blemish. I am thankful that God uses people like Nathan and the ministry team, and that Heart of David Ministries provides an honest, caring and safe environment where it is OK for painful things to surface and be dealt with.

6. Living Beyond Poverty and Lack

Whether or not we enter into God's promise is determined by two things: our attitudes and our choices. When these two areas come into line with God's Word the curse of poverty and lack is broken.
